The Calvary-Class Heavy Gunship is one of the smaller historic vessels in the Saxon Fleet. Armed with two powerful Thunderbolt Anti-Ship cannons, it was capable of making fast attacks and crippling larger vessels, but had little-to-no armor to speak of. Due to its inability to go toe-to-toe with other vessels and the lessened need to project picket forces after the end of the Interstellar War, the Calvary-class was discontinued in 2115 AE. The decommissioned vessels had their cannons and marine berthings removed in favor of an extended cargo area and vehicle hanger.
The civilian variant of the vessel was released in 2120 as the Vaccinium-Class Light Utility Freighter.
